A contractor uses several independent contractors to comprise a workforce to complete a job. Why does this matter? Scope of work and licensing! Contractors have to be licensed and those companies they sub-contract work out to should also be licensed for the 'scope of work' that they perform. Of course, the 'scope of work' will determine the type of professional you should hire. Contractors have a daily quota to meet in order to afford their massive overhead. This is where the homeowner should ask themselves... "Do I need a contractor or a handyman?"
While a professional handyman does not have to be licensed it definitely comes with limitations and for good reason!
'a person who is skillful at doing small jobs (such as household repairs)',
which means that the scope of work for a professional handyman is very different. A handyman usually makes repairs and can replace many of the fixtures in your home such as, faucets, sinks, toilets, disposals etc. We can also make additions such as lights, switches and plugs or even add outdoor water spigots. Yes! As a handyman I have made repairs on jobs performed by high dollar contractors. Just because a business 'claims' to be a contractor does not mean you will receive quality work. We can certainly repair your broken/frozen water pipes and not need a license to do it. BEWARE the pressures of a contractor overcharging you for basic home repairs! Handymen do not incur massive overhead costs due to the 'scope of work' we perform. We don't have to hire multiple professionals driving up costs to complete a job. We can perform the tasks ourselves (within our 'scope of work'), saving you time and money in the process.
If you are building a house, you definitely need a contractor. If you are making basic repairs, just call us! We have the best booking fee in the area, available online. Remember! Contractors don't come back after that last payment (draw) has been paid. The Handiest Man warranties his work!
When you pay the $75 booking (Consultation) fee you are getting:
95% of the bookings lead to on-the-spot repairs with the first hour covered from the booking fee!
Top of the line work! 5 Stars!

Matthew has such a great attitude. I have had him back for other tasks!
Matthew handles all my home maintenance needs! Filters, window cleaning, dusting the corners of high ceilings, etc.
"I just love him!"
I don't have huge gaps around my door anymore! He replaced the whole piece of trim, not just a small piece, AND I wasn't broke when he left! Praise be to Jesus!
